After a number of delays caused by renovation and restoration projects, the circa 1822 Hastings Homestead will open to the public in August 2026. Tours of this remarkable home, resided in by five generations of the same family, will be by appointment only (call 207-824-2291 or email info@hastingshomestead.org). Because of the great wealth of original furnishings and artifacts, groups will usually be limited to no more than 4 people per tour, unless special arrangements are made. The cost is $10.00 per person, which goes directly toward the preservation of this National Historic Site.
